Atlas TC755EZ
The Atlas E-Z arm is the perfect addition to the Atlas 755 tilt back tire changers. The Atlas E-Z arm (mounted on the right side) performs almost all the same functions as the dual arms.
The air powered cylinder delivers immense power to each of the three "helper" accessory functions located on the Atlas E-Z arm. A simple air valve toggle control is located on the top of the arm.
All of the accessories can be "moved out of the way" when not in use.
The Atlas E-Z arm may only be used on "tilt back" Atlas tire changers.
The adjustable bead roller presses (and holds) the stiff top tire bead below the surface of the rim to allow the mount/demount head to work properly.
The lower bead shoe lifts the lower bead into the drop center of the rim to assist the operator in removing stiff sidewall tires from rims.
The plastic head on the expandable bead arm keeps downward pressure on the top bead (with the adjustable screw) as it rotates away from the mount/demount head.
The revolutionary Bead Blaster design found on many of our Atlas tire changers provides an enormous amount of air pressure and volume (blasting air through the air holes positioned near the movable turntable jaws) to seat the beads on most stiff sidewall tires. This tremendous volume of air, directed to the inside cavity of the tire, forces both tire sidewalls to press solidly against the wheel so that the tire will "hold air". Atlas wheel clamp tire changers offer this exclusive bead blast design on most of their tire changers. This innovative large volume Bead Blaster design allows the operator to seat the beads and easily inflate even the most stubborn of stiff sidewall tires.
The larger air tank reservoir holds more compressed air than most competitive tire changers. The tank is connected to a unique valve system which utilizes an oversized hose system to deliver a huge amount of air pressure and volume in a short amount of time.
This new Bead Blaster design allows a larger volume of air at a higher pressure to be forced into the tire cavity for a longer period of time. This increased pressure and volume of the Bead Blaster system separates the Atlas wheel clamp tire changers from their competition. One pedal allows the operator to seat the bead and inflate the tire to the factory recommend pressure in a short amount of time.
The use of Atlas Motorcycle/ATV Flip Adapters prevent the use of the air bead blast feature on this tire changer. The adapters are slid over the standard wheel clamp jaws on the tire changer table and will block the holes through which the bead blast shoots the jets of air. This means that you will not be able to use the Bead Blaster to help you reseat the bead of a tire when you are using either of these adapter sets.
The "tilt back" feature of the Atlas 755 wheel clamp tire changer allows the turntable of the tire changer to be fully "exposed" , and will handle tire diameters of over 47 inches. If you are presently changing expensive chrome wheels; the "exposed" turntable allows the operator a larger work area and helps to prevent damage to the rim when setting the rim on the turntable.
Tilt back tire changers offer several advantages over the swing arm wheel clamp tire changers. If you are a high volume shop, the tilt back feature reduces operator fatigue because the head assembly is automatically (operator only needs to press a foot pedal) moved away when the wheel assembly is ready to be removed from the turntable. When the next wheel is placed on the turntable, the operator presses the foot pedal, and the arm swings back in to the correct position automatically.
The Atlas 755 tilt back wheel clamp tire changer is the perfect choice for all professional service shops that specialize in changing low-profile high performance stiff sidewall tires. The position of the mount/demount head (12 o'clock) allows the operator to stand in front of the machine with easy access to all pedals and to both assist arms (if the Atlas 755 is equipped with the DAA).
The left hand and right hand assist arms are in the perfect position to assist in the mounting and demounting of run flat tires.
